R U L E S / I N F O
01. All posts will be f-locked. This is due to some issues with folks not actually respecting these rules. The whole community used to be open to everyone, but after finding that folks just didn't care about the rules.. well.. yeah. So you will need to join the community in order to see what we got.
02. We would really like it if you could comment and give thanks. Every time we read a 'thanks' posting, it warms our hearts. We try to post in other comms to let folks know that we've released.. but not all comms are cool with x-posting to a locked comm. So join us.. give us some thoughts and feedback.. and show us how much you appreciate our hard work. ^_^
03. When posting anything on the comm, we will put a tag that says what the posting is about. [RELEASE], [INFO], [FEEDBACK, are all types of tags you will see in the title. We also do our best to keep the LJ tags current to the content. So if it is a release of a certain fandom, you should see those tags listed at the bottom of the posting. Please click on them to get more info about said items. ^_^
04. We don't tend to use LJ-cuts. If you are joining the community, please be prepared for this. We don't tend to post image heavy postings, but some of them might be long and filled with info. Just want to give everyone a heads up.
05. BE RESPECTFUL! This community is filled with various fandoms.. we are a doujinshi scanlation group.. and we don't simply focus on one pairing, one fandom, one anything. Please don't rag on us for posting something that is from a fandom/pairing/whatever that you don't enjoy. Simply don't click on the post. We love ALL OF YOU.. but it would make us very sad if folks started arguing within the community. We would really like it if people had some awesome discussions within our posts.. but we'd hate for people to argue. Heated debates are good though. :D
06. YOU MUST BE 18 TO BE IN THIS COMMUNITY. If you have joined and are under the age of 18, the least you can do is NOT be stupid enough to tell us. If you join and boast that you are under 18, your account will immediately be reported to LiveJournal. The rating on this community is 18+.. if you properly input your birthdate, there's no way you should've been able to join. Why is this such an issue you ask? Because while the content of a community is to be shared and enjoyed.. no one should suffer the consequences of being hated on by an underaged persons parents.
07. DO NOT POST OUR SCANLATIONS TO OUTSIDE DOWNLOAD SITES! This is probably the most important thing ever. It is disregarded constantly, which is the whole reason this comm ended up being fully and completely friend-locked. We are offering you all a free service, with very high quality scanlations. We work VERY HARD to put %110 into every release. It doesn't encourage us to work on anything when we see folks disrespecting our wishes. We never thought we would have to write this in every single posting.. but it looks like we might have to. The majority of you totally show us due respects, and we love you for it.. but that small percentage of people that totally disrespect us.. well.. we dunno what to do about them. If you see our stuff posted on some external site, please let us know so we can address the issue.. or if yr feeling so inclined, you can let the mods for the comm/forum/whatever know that it goes against our wishes.. just be nice about it if you can. :3
08. LEAVE OUR RELEASES INTACT. If you have downloaded something we've released, please respect the above rules and definitely, do not remove the credits page! I have told many language groups that I have no issues with them doing our releases in another language.. and recently, we had someone contact us about simply doing translations and only posting their translation. I'm totally cool with that.. but please respect the hard work each member put in, by leaving the page that discusses our credits. We would still like to know yr actually working on it.. because it might be that someone else already contacted us.. but if yr just gonna do it anyways, please be sure to leave the zips exactly as they are.
09. DO NOT POST OUR RELEASES ON AARINFANTASY, EMULE, 4CHAN, 7CHAN, ETC. If you have joined this community, you should know we absolutely can't stand seeing out releases posted on these share sites. We have our own website that we paid for.. it hosts our releases.. it doesn't require you to join or anything.. it's not that big a deal to just visit our site to get the release, is it? Nothing is ever locked, minus this LJ comm.. so really.. please.. don't post our stuff on these other sites. AF is the ONLY site that has shown us ANY respect regarding our releases, and that would only include the staff, majority of the members on AF who aren't a part of the comm here, show us nothing but disrespect. It's the saddest thing ever.
10. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SELL OUR SCANLATIONS!! I would've thought this was a given. Scanlations are made by fans, for fans. They are a free service that we offer to everyone so that you might be able to better enjoy the doujinshi that we most likely won't ever see printed in english. This is also so that you can see the amazing art that the doujinka produce. We do NOT do this so that you can profit off our hard work and screw the doujinka. It's no wonder Japanese Doujinka think we're all pieces of shit.. orz.
